This Post is for my new friend Mel. She asked that I take her on a boat ride but being in Ft. Kent, she'll have to deal with a virtual ride instead of the real thing.
Today we went to Egmont Key. Here are some pirated photos that may give you a visual of what it was like. Imagine yourself on our smallish yacht, the swells are 3 or so feet & your boobs hurt from all of the bouncing plus the only drink you remembered to bring was cheap chardonnay (ewwww) so you will eventually go through the stages of dehydration but you'll feel good doing it. Take a picture walk with me while we visit the island:
beautiful remote Egmont Key is only accessible by boat or wonderjet but I lost mine... Damn invisible thing! There's one light house, one park ranger's station & several very wealthy home owners who we hate there.
This sanctuary is home to many varieties of sea life who are in their uninterrupted natural habitat.
Aren't they cute....
Oh Yeah, & it's the second most popular breeding ground for these fishes.
We had a splendid day. Thanks for sailing with us!! No one was bitten nor did any of us bite.
