Points of Holiday Interest
1. on Dec. 23 I drove to the grociery store & in route nearly ran over a sheep crossing our busy little intersection. On a fast trott I might add. Not an ordinary barnyard animal, this was a she sheep with horns & meaning business. I did call the non emergancy police line only to be greeted by a rash of hysterical laughter. "OK Mamm, the 'sheep' is traveling south on Porpoise crossing Dolphin...' with an entire host of holiday staff chuckeling in the background. I do know my farmyard animals so I sent Matt out for a quick shot of the beastie whilst I was at the store. Digital proof:
The beastie was subsiquently captured by it's owners & lasoed into submission. The St. Pete PD & Code Enforcement were not even remotely interested in this as I could not provide a complete genis/species nor DNA evidence... like I fricken photoshopped it in .....
2. Christmas was a blurr... I did get a few shots but they are mostly of paper, boxes & debris... It was like a crazy of openning & tearing... few pictures could actually describe the ordeal. You'll just have to use your imagination. Wade & I started with Irish Creame in our Coffee & continued throughout the day. There was gifting, feasting & napping. I'm quite sure there were Frankinsence & Myrthe but the Sheep & other manger animals were MIA.
