You Can't reason with Hurricane Season
This was what I woke up to Wednesday morning. All I had was my cell cuz the fam has the good camera in WI. It stops after just a few seconds. Note the rocker you see came from my great grand. It's solid oak. The pool/patio furniture that you don't see is in the bottom of my pool.
these are of my fence, front yard and tree on the roof. I didn't hear a thing!!!
This was the clean up effort. Thanks to a friend with a real chainsaw I was able to clear it all and pile it for the city to remove. I wish I had a tripod to video me on the roof with electric 3" circular saw and extension cord around my waist. That was something to see!
The good news is that there is no real costly damage. The roof was completely intact, the fence was in need of repair and those trees were slated to go per my husband as they were problems to our home.
This my friends is what happens when you don't pray specifically. I asked GOD what to do with my free time. Don't leave it that wide open. HE is a humorous type.

Matt, it wasn't on the powerline. It was on the phone line, ha, my hair is still curley. I einy meiny right! Who even has a land line anymore? - Screw 'em. Gotta get on the mayor's action line to get it cleaned up from the skreet. All Done, I win!
