The Verdict Is In

did you need a DNA sample to tell this is a dog? Personally, I think it was just a story to give Maine a spotlight on the CNN website. Hybrid mutant evil monster my ass. It's a chow. & now it's a dead chow being picked at by vultures & weirdos.

let me guess. the mutant beardog roamed out of the woods onto some jerks private property and if he didn't shoot it, it would tear his family to pieces?

kinda sorta - hit by a car not shot on Rt. 4 in Turner. They couldn't I dentify it. Claimed it was some sort of mutant crossbred animal part wolf part wild dog part tasmanian devil child stalker. Lots of hype because the Inland Fisheries & Wildlife guy said "we don't have time to drive all over this state looking at dead things." that's an actual quote by the way. Long & short of it - turns out to be a chow... duhhh I took one look at the thing on the internet & could have told them that but great publicity for the great state o'Maine!!!

I'd say it had the mange...is musta been kinda sick or something cuz' its hair is all nasty.
I did see it on the news but I didn't get the whole story. The picture you posted of it, is pretty nasty and I just finished watching Silent Hill (new horror flick), and your pictures made my stomach turn.
