Attention Spanless

This week we begin the heavy task of holiday shopping & planning. We have an entire week off from school to get it together but alas, we would rather play dress up & blog!
If you have a holiday suggestion for gifts or a recipe for the table this week, please come forward now. Otherwise we may not leave the house & simply rummage through closets for 5 days looking for discarded items to package & reuse as gifts or in some cases, casseroles.

I am up and wandering around the house. Its clean, and the yard is also done so I've almost nothing to do but watch tv programs made in 1965 for children (CBC TV).
A test of some weird sleep meds have harshed my mellow this morning.

5 days of Holiday planning, cooking and football...I would (will) flee, go where no-one ever heard of Thanksgiving, return when the insanity is over.

Just be careful preparing to flee when you experiment with sleep meds.

i'm no help here. i do all my shopping last minute. the main person on my list i have to worry about is my mom and i can never go wrong with a pair of gold earrings or necklace, shirts (she prefers crewneck lightweight layering pieces in solid colors), new stegman clogs, candles, etc.

and i've got no holiday recipes up my sleeve....i've got lots of tastebud experience though.

I've been lead to believe by experts that the turkey in a brown paper bag is good. man who sleeps on doors.
