Today, the inspector came from the city to check off the steel work. We failed. There was a small amount of sand that had collapsed onto a corner of the steel. It seems he's a bit of a neat nick & must have all steel spotless. Our crew arrived 1/2 hour after the inspector & were ticked to find the red tag. Later that day, the inspector came back around. He felt bad for failing our pool cuz the other 3 he'd been to today were so much worse! He came back by just to sign off on ours without the white glove!!!! The concrete goes on tomorrow. We will have a pool shell in the ground in ONE WEEK!!! I love my pool company so far.
