To My Health
I had a little scare with my health this past few weeks. I've had some bizarre goings on with my female junk & well just plan weirdness for a while so I went to the doc. It took several pints of blood & another visit to OBGYN to diagnose my ailments but in the end, I'm not dying.... which I'm pretty sure is a good thing. They say I am in the throws of menopause. OK - I said, how long does this last for? "Well, until you're done." was the reply. Good enough for me! If I seem irritated or sweaty for no apparent reason... you'll understand. Oh & about my 'age' - there's no rhyme or reason as to when women begin this. Janet was done at 38 so I guess 29 isn't that far of a stretch for my family.
on other fronts: Weed turned 30 this weekend. What a fest! 3 days & nights of debauchery. I didn't remember the camera so you'll have to use your imagination. We had an excellent surf & turf feed then a night in the down town area. We even went to Tampa to collect Weed's buddy from school Rance M. Fun times.
Olivia spent the weekend with Grammie & Dude and will give me a blow by blow of the MLK parade this afternoon which I'm looking forward to.
Our team is being observed teaching tomorrow by one of the painted ladies from the Taj Ma Hall. I'm not a fan of the observation day but somehow, I'm not nervous as usual about it. I suppose it's cuz I'm not dying so this seems minor.

Glad to hear everything is in working order. I hope you feel better. Menopause is a big grey area for the docs isn't it???
